It happened! Jerusalem woke up dressed in white the morning of February 18 2021.
The snow storm that had covered Athens arrived in Jerusalem a couple of days later. Although not as heavy as the Greek one, it left a beautiful white picture of the Holy City and its surroundings. However, it barely lasted 24 hours, so families with children, photographers and snow lovers tried to make the most of it in a race against warm temperatures that melted this wonderland within a day.
Images like these were not seen since the last snow six years ago.
