“The capacity of the Holy Land to transform hearts is the most effective argument to call people to get involved in the Saxum project.” This is the firm belief of Antonio Quintana, General Secretary of the Saxum Foundation, who, thanks to the generosity of donors, is now able to tell us how the first year of the International capital campaign went: “What I feel when I present the project around the world, is a real awareness of the importance of doing something to help Christians in the Holy Land and to help the pilgrims who come from all over the world to learn more about the life of Christ and perhaps to turn their hearts. ”
“I’ve never seen anyone who came here to the Holy Land, leaving in the same way,” – Antonio Quintana continues – “It’s as if there was such turning point, that everyone remembers for the rest of his life. That’s why this capacity of the Holy Land to turn the hearts of the people is one of the most valuable point to get people involved in a project like this. ”
And in fact, Saxum is involving people in 5 continents. “People are responding well” – Quintana says again – (he will soon leave to Hong Kong, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand) – but there is still much to do and Saxum will be a dream come true thanks to help – big or small – of all.
“It’s worth getting involved in this project – the General Secretary of the Saxum Foundation concludes – I mean helping financially, but also through prayer and making it known to friends, relatives and acquaintances. It’s worth it! ”
